KMLTTB is the host organization for this event

The Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) was formed by an act of parliament,Act no.10 of 1999, and became operational in 2001. The Board is currently comprised of 15 members who are all qualified in their rights.

The Board is made up of four committees namely;

· The quality assurance committee

· The regulatory committee

· The disciplinary committee

· The finance and administration committee.

These committees are assigned specific roles all of which play key role in fulfilling the mandate of the board. The activities of the board are run by an executive secretariat that is headed by the chief executive officer.The Board is basically mandated under the MLTT Act to exercise general supervision over training, practice and employment of laboratory technicians and technologists and business of provision of laboratory and related services in Kenya.

MISSION:To protect the health of all kenyans by ensuring compliance with standards for training, research, practice and business in medical laboratory services.
